Aberavon Aqua Splash is the ultimate splash pad adventure! Come and soak up the fun on a sunny summer’s day featuring more than 30 water features including fountains, jets and ‘waterfalls’!
Aberavon Aqua Splash is so popular in the summer we are introducing an Inclusive Session for children with additional needs. The Inclusive Session will have a limited number of spaces available so that Aqua Splash will be less crowded for children that require more space.
Every Wednesday from 10.00am until 11.00am there will be an Inclusive Session tailored for children with additional needs and their families. Based on feedback and usage of the Inclusive Sessions we will look to further develop services in the future.
Inclusive Aqua Splash Session:
Over 30 water features including fountains, jets and ‘waterfalls’ for children to enjoy.
The Inclusive Session will have a limited number of children using Aqua Splash and will be less busy than at other times.
Aqua Splash is all level with no steps and is fully wheelchair accessible.
You are welcome to use your own wheelchair in Aqua Splash. We also have “aquatic wheelchair” can be borrowed if suitable.
All staff are First Aid Trained.
Facilities include disabled toilet, Male and Female Toilets.
New this season we have a Changing Places facility with accessible toilet, ceiling hoist and height adjustable changing bench.
What we expect:
The Inclusive Session is primarily for children with additional needs. We understand how important it is for families to be able to have fun together. Brothers and sisters of the child with additional needs will be able to access the Inclusive Session with their sibling.
All children must be accompanied by at least 1 appropriate adult who will be responsible for the conduct and welfare of those children in their care.
Appropriate clothing must be worn.

The Inclusive Sessions have limited numbers of users and a time slot must be pre-booked.
