Our Bowls Arena
Our indoor bowls arena is maintained to tournament standards. The six-rink setup provides ample room for both practice and competition. The surface is maintained carefully, giving bowlers a smooth, consistent playing experience every time they visit. You can enjoy the sport throughout the year, unaffected by weather or seasonal changes.
Our arena has hosted major events, including national championships such as the WIBA (Welsh Indoor Bowling Association) Championships in April 2014. Our history adds a sense of pride and excitement for many local players. Above all of this however, our bowls arena remains welcoming and accessible to complete beginners. You can walk in with zero experience for you first ever game and find a welcoming and inclusive community to join.
Your Local Bowling Club
We are proud to be regular hosts to the Pontardawe Indoor Bowling Club (PIBC), who train and play regularly with us. They run leagues, competitions, and seasonal programmes between autumn and spring. Social clubs, including Tawe Bowlers, also use the facility year-round for relaxed morning sessions. Whether you prefer structured matches or gentle play, there’s a session and a community waiting for you.
