Government guidelines and restrictions have been updated in Wales (from Friday 28 January).

This really is great news, but please remember that we’re all in a different place in terms of getting back into the swing of things. Your safety remains a priority to us. While we will continue with our increased cleaning regimes, please support us by regularly using the hand sanitiser provided and wearing a face covering when moving around our centres, especially at busy times.

  • One way system will be removed, we will now operate a keep left policy in our centres.
  • Safe distance encouraged with maximum capacities on activities in place.
  • Group Exercise Classes will now have more spaces (where possible).
  • Gym sessions are now open to allow for more flexible training.
  • Dry side changing rooms are open (with limited capacity)
  • Showers will be available after gym sessions
  • Lockers will be available in our changing rooms
  • Drinking fountains are open to allow refill of water bottles
  • We will now have exercise dots instead of boxes in our fitness classes
  • There will be no need to queue to get into our centre
  • The gym gates at Aberavon Leisure & Fitness Centre will be back in action
  • The Health Suite is open with limited capacity (sessions will need to booked)
  • Cafe at Aberavon is now open with a limited menu.
  • Casual / Family Swimming is back.
  • Early morning swimming sessions in Neath & Aberavon remain bookable
  • Resistance Gym has returned to the Fitness Suite in Neath Sports Centre
  • Face coverings are still required in public areas.
  • Party bookings are available at Neath Sports Centre & Pontardawe Swimming Pool (restrictions for adults will apply)
  • Soft Play at Aberavon will re-open on Monday 7th February.
